Outside of our normal opening hours you will hear a recorded message informing you of the mobile number of the vet on duty.
Unlike many practices today, Dacre House maintains its own 24-hour emergency service. This ensures you do not have to travel to a distant surgery: your pet will be treated at our clinic by one of our vets. This also means we have your pet's medical records to hand straight away. What's more, in an out-of-hours emergency you will speak with our duty vet directly - you will not have to speak with a nurse or telephone operator first.
Our staff are trained to quickly assess the nature of your pet's problem and will need to ask you a series of questions in order to determine the best course of action. In order to help us deal with your call as efficiently and effectively as possible, please try to remain calm and speak slowly and clearly.
