We offer a reasonably priced service to implant a small electronic chip under your pet’s skin (no anaesthetic required) to ensure that if your pet strays, he or she can be identified and reunited with you when found.
Pet passports
Under the PETS travel scheme, pet cats and dogs from certain countries can now enter or re-enter the UK without quarantine, as long as they meet certain rules. We offer microchipping, rabies vaccination, blood testing and certification to help ensure that your pet meets these rules and can travel abroad with you. As different regulations apply to different countries, it is worthwhile discussing your needs with us well in advance of travel, or you can contact DEFRA for advice.
Geriatric care
Many conditions of old age can now be effectively treated or their severity reduced. We are here to help with advice and treatment for arthritis, the failing heart, kidney disease, and many other senile changes, to improve your pet's quality of life.
Blood profiles
From a small sample of blood, we can run tests to determine the health status of many of the body’s organs, as well as determine if there is infection present. Anaemia and diabetes are easily diagnosed by these simple tests and having a blood profile carried out before your pet undergoes surgery helps make sure that the liver and kidney functions are sufficient to deal with the anaesthetic.
