Veterinary surgeons Receptionists & Nursing staff


Receptionists

-  Sue Stewart: apart from a very brief period, Sue has worked continuously in the clinic since its inception, firstly as a nurse, then a receptionist and now as the Practice Manager. She has cared for a number of animals over the years, some acquired through work, and now has two Jack Russell terriers and two rescued cats. She has always been a keen horsewoman, with a particular interest in dressage.

-  Helen Goodsell: Helen has been working at Dacre House for over 10 years now. She currently works part-time, in between looking after her son, her horse and ten guinea pigs!

-  Beverley Beeney: Bev, our morning receptionist, joined the practice in 1999. Her interests include her children, whom Bev has been involved in training as majorettes for 18 years. She has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Dotty (rescued from the practice 7 years ago) and a 24 year old tortoise called Stubby. Bev enjoys walking with friends and can often be found at gardening shows.

-  Michelle Banks: Michelle is the newest member of our reception team, taking phone calls and working on the front desk most afternoons during the week and on Saturday mornings.


Nursing staff

-  Emma Smith: Emma has been with us since April 2005. She is the proud owner of Irwin the hamster and two tortoises - Pebbles and Bambams. Emma is a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant.

-  Sarah Senecal: Sarah has been working with us since 2006. She has two cats of her own which terrorise her flat and keep her busy cleaning up after them. She has also recently become a mother!

-  Vicky Nyberg: Vicky has been at Dacre House since 2007. Her interests include horse riding, cooking and walking the dog. Vicky is currently working towards her Animal Nursing Assistant diploma.

-  Laura Luxford: Laura joined the practice in July 2007 after completing a two year National Diploma at Hadlow College. She has a keen interest in all exotic species and is currently looking into breeding Leopard Geckos.

-  Ashleigh Smith: Ashleigh joined our nursing team in 2009 and has quickly learned the ropes. She previously worked for the Cats Protection at their National Centre in Haywards Heath.

-  Lisa Hilton: Lisa joined the practice in April, 2010. She is a qualified Veterinary Nurse and a mother to two young boys. Having lectured at Hadlow College and been responsible for nurse training in a busy practice in Essex, Lisa now provides in-house teaching for our nursing team, as well as helping out with administration.
