Sue Stewart: apart from a very brief period, Sue has worked continuously in the clinic since its inception, firstly as a nurse, then a receptionist and now as the Practice Manager. She has cared for a number of animals over the years, some acquired through work, and now has two Jack Russell terriers and a rescued cat. She has always been a keen horsewoman, with a particular interest in dressage.

Beverley Beeney: Bev, our morning receptionist, joined the practice in 1999. Her interests include her children, whom Bev has been involved in training as majorettes for 18 years. She has a 25 year old tortoise called Stubby. Bev enjoys walking with friends and can often be found at gardening shows.

Deanna Taylor: Deanna joined the reception team earlier this year, but has already settled in well, and enjoys her "front-of-house" duties: meeting and greeting clients most afternoons during the week and on Saturday mornings. She has not yet acquired any pets of her own, but relishes contact with any patients in the waiting room or hospital wards.

Sarah Senecal: Sarah has been working with us since 2006. Initially, she was employed as part of the nursing staff, but since having her son, she has returned to work part-time as a receptionist. She has two dogs and three cats of her own which terrorise her house and keep her busy cleaning up after them.

Penny Kerry: Penny is filling in for us as an evening receptionist whilst Sarah is on maternity leave. She will also be helping out on some Saturday mornings in the New Year. She is a client, with plenty of pets, and has previous receptionist experience.
Nursing staff

Emma Smith: Emma has been with us since April 2005 and is instrumental in ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.She is a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant and started her two year Veterinary Nurse training last autumn. Emma is the proud owner of Pebbles and BamBam, her two tortoises, but also fosters animals from the clinic when necessary.

Helen Goodsell: Helen has been working at Dacre House for over 16 years now, so has a wealth of experience. She currently works part-time, in between looking after her two sons, her horse, two cats and numerous guinea pigs!

Ashleigh Smith: Ashleigh has returned to the surgery after a three month break (she just could not keep away!). She lives on a farm and has a variety of cats, dogs, chickens and horses to keep her busy when not at work. She has a National Diploma from Hadlow Agricultural College.

Laura Luxford: Laura joined the practice in July 2007 after completing a two year National Diploma at Hadlow College. She is currently undertaking a veterinary-related correspondence course. Laura has a keen interest in all exotic species and is currently looking into breeding Leopard Geckos.

Heather Harwood: Another new member of the team, Heather has a Foundation Degree in Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare,an NVQ in Animal Care and a Diploma in Animal Management. She worked at Redsheen Kennels and Last Chance Animal Rescue before joining us. Her hobbies include paper craft, cross stitch and reading.
