Dacre House Veterinary Clinic
For the care your pet deserves
Welcome to Dacre House

An independent, community-centred practice offering excellent and affordable veterinary care for pets and their owners in and around Tunbridge Wells.

Established over 30 years ago, our aims remain the same - to provide clinical excellence in a caring, compassionate environment and to keep our prices as fair as possible. As an independent practice we do not have shareholders to answer to or growth targets to meet.

Cat vaccines

Due to a national vaccine shortage, we will be prioritising unvaccinated kittens and cats needing their first annual booster. Adult cats who have received their vaccine regularly in previous years are considered to be at lower risk. Please call the clinic (01892 546000 Southborough or 01892 487174 Pembury) for more information. Thank you for your understanding.

Increased demand for vet care

Due to increased demand for our services, we have had to once more introduce a waiting list for new registrations.

We are working hard to try to increase provision but are mindful of our need to ensure we can provide a good service to those patients currently registered with us. To be added to the waiting list please send an email to reception@dacrehouse.co.uk or call the reception team on 01892 546000.

Pet travel to the EU

Since the UK left the EU, Pet Passports issued by UK vets are no longer valid and we are not permitted to update EU Pet Passports (except to add worming information). To travel to the EU now with a dog, cat or ferret you will need an Animal Health Certificate.

More information can be found by clicking here, or by visiting the APHA pages at gov.uk.

Education and training

We are keen to promote learning. Our vets are regularly attending meetings and undertaking courses; a number of our support staff have completed diplomas with us or are currently studying in partnership with various colleges. We offer training placements for veterinary students and work experience for school pupils.
